I take a trauma-informed approach understanding that for many people these behaviors are often a maladaptive attempt to cope with the effects of trauma and living in a toxic body-shaming culture. Together we work on developing new coping skills which can help you handle life's stresses without relying on obsession of food eating and weight. I use a combination therapy approach which includes cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, and psycho-educational therapy as well as addictions and socio-cultural models, exposure and response prevention, EMDR, IFS and mind/body/spirit theories.
Here are some symptoms you might have:

Obsessioin with food, eating and weight
